Dear deviants,

after almost 7 month of DA here you are my first Journal post.

About my gallery:
it contains two different types of deviations:
1) surreal-gothic digital Art photomanipulations
2) My photos about land(water)scapes without any manipulation.

Since they are quite different categories I think I'll split my gallery in two diffent ones.

About me:
I falled on this world 22 years ago.
I came from Crotone, a little city in the southern Italy.
In my gallery you can see some photos of its awesome sea.
From 4 years I'm attending the Computer Engineering faculty at the University of Parma. Parma is in the middle-northern part of Italy. It's very different from Crotone but it's a beautiful city too: it is elegant, romantic and there's a kind of gothic mood from some point of view. Unfortunaly there's not the sea !

My interest in arts came from my need of expressing myself and shouting my personal picture of the world as answer to the fact that personal feelings are systematically suppressed by the pale rationality imposed by the mass culture.

My main interests are in visual arts ( as you can see) and in music.

My favourite bands are Anathema - APC, Moonspell, Tool, Orgy, NIN, London After Midnight, Type 'O Negative, Opeth, Smashing Pumpkins....in few worlds I like gothic\elektro music full of originality, passion and expressivity.

I play guitar since 5 years and I'm part of the project Mannequeen7317 since May 2005. Mannequeen7317 is a Cyber-Psycho-rock band. Our sound is very personal but you can hear some influences from NIN and Orgy. Ask me for more info. Soon we'll publish our website.

I thinks it's enough to be my first post.
